I chose this machine over another because *It came with 9 assorted heads as opposed to one universal shape/size, *It has the Hot/Cold Hammer, & *It includes 2 really nice Ultrasonic Wands - Price Difference = $26.
The Dermabrasion tips are Microcrystal coated wand-heads (not Diamond Tips). These tips are WONDERFUL! I love the little conical ones that get everywhere on my nose so easily! After one use, my pores are Completely clear! The little horizontal lines on my forehead are gone too.
The Hot/Cold Hammer is the size of a Hotel Room Hairdryer - It heats & cools simultaneously, and does so very fast. The Cool feels so good on the eye area...It should be perfect before make-up application. I used the Hot right before the Dermabrasion to help open everything up.
The Ultrasound Wands & Heads are much larger than I expected which was really nice. The flat head is about the size of a silver dollar...(Not sure if that reference is helpful to anyone anymore, lol)...Circumference is 5&1/2". I used the Ultrasound for 10 minutes, at the end, while applying my serum. I used the conical shaped head on & around my nose and eye area.
This machine comes with an inline filter, so there is nothing to change. However, I have no idea where I would go to get a replacement filter or a replacement-anything for that matter. The words, "Diamond Dermic" are printed on the machine, otherwise there is no way of knowing much about this product at all.
I have to turn the suction all the way up to get the strength that I want, so I wonder how long it will last at that suction level.
The "Operation Manual" is one piece of paper telling you how to turn on each device. THERE IS NO INSTRUCTION ON HOW TO USE ANYTHING.
I've had countless facials, so I'm drawing on that experience as to how this product should be used. I'm not sure what I would think about this if I was seeing it all for the 1st time.
Bottom Line: Works Great! But for how long at top strength? Some Instruction would be helpful! It's VERY cumbersome. What happens when I need a replacement part? As far as I can tell, I'm completely screwed if something breaks.
