(More customer reviews)True Confession: I have freaky feet that get calloused, hard and nasty no matter what kind of lotions, potions and foot creams I use. If I ever want to wear a sandal, I have to bring out the big guns to file my feet into compliance.
And the Microplane Foot Buffer is the Big Gun.
It's amazing that something so small and innocent looking can do such a thorough job of getting my calloused, nasty and discolored feet to look as if they belong on a human being instead of a Neanderthal hunter/gatherer. Once a week or so, I set aside ten minutes to "take care of my feet." I simply rub the tiny cheese grater-like surface over the nasty areas and voila', they go away!
All of the hard skin that builds up on my heels is buffed off in a matter of moments (unless I forget and wash my feet first. This buffer must be used on _dry_ feet). There is also a little cap on the buffer with a sandpaper surface that gives you a final smoothing before you slip on those cute sandals (that you bought at Amazon, naturally!)
