(More customer reviews)I have never used a peel anywhere near this potent ( usually 10% drugstore brands) so I was VERY careful. I just left it on a few minutes. However, it was so hot that I doubt I could have stood it much longer even had I wanted to. I had never had a professional facial so did not know what to expect. I am really excited about using this as I can see it is powerful and effective. I left it on my lips just seconds and all the old skin just came right off! I expected my lips to crack and bleed after that but they didn't! I have always been a 'do it yourselfer' including filler injections for face but this I would caution not to overdo it as it could damage your skin . It definitely is effective so if you can use extreme restraint, try it. Start with a small area first so you see how it works. I also used it on my son's back for acne as he did not want to use Acutane again. It was not so hot to him and worked very well with just one application. We are going to do some more on him as well. You can also use a Q-tip to do specific areas , lines, pimples,scars, etc. Oh, even after three weeks my skin still has color to it whereas before I was very pale as I have been dealing with a long term illness. I look healthier now too!
