I had some mild discolorations from sun exposure and some mild pimples so I decided to give this a whirl having loved the effects of a mild peal at a spa some time ago. I should note I'm only 28 with medium skin tone. Em.. disaster. I rolled applicator tip across my forehead, which gets a lot of sun exposure, and onto one spot on my chin where the pimple had been.
I am now left with a scar-- basically wherever I rolled BHA peel the skin has become very dark and hyper-pigmented, and it's not a "scar" or "scab" i can hope to have come off..rather it's the actual pigmentation of the skin. After initially applying the product i had very little flaking, skin became rather light, then pink like i had suffered frost bite, and then this. I've been trying to cope with the darkness which is not getting any better for THREE WEEKS now. it's a nightmare. Impossible to cover, non of my expensive alpha hydroxy, glycolic, or even pure vitamin e creams have made any difference.
