(More customer reviews)I have been using this product now for about 4 weeks, and all I can say is, "it works for me". I've tried A LOT of products in the past to help even out my facial skin tone, a problem I've had since I was a teenager. I am now in my 40's. Most of other products I've used lightened my skin but they also blocked my pores and contributed to extended bouts with acne and razor bumps. I was really concerned that this product would do the same because it contains Sunflower and Mineral oil, a no-no if you're trying to clear up your acne. However, when I felt the texture of the lotion, it didn't feel oily/greasy, so I was willing to give it a try.
Long story short, I've seen noticeable improvement in my skin tone, particularly in the neck area of my face, where I've battled razor bumps. My skin is also smoother to the touch. This product contains "Meadow Sweet Extract", a lightening agent that I believe is the active ingredient in getting rid of discoloration and overall blotchy skin. It is not as harsh as other lightening agents.
I'd like to add one caveat. The instructions tell you to use this product twice a day, in the morning and in the evening until you see improvement and then use is once a day to "maintain". However, since I have a darker complexion, I only use it once a day (at night) because on me, the product initially leaves a noticeable film that might make you a little self conscious in public. It eventually dissolves, but that's a fact you should know.
I do wish this product was more reasonably priced, but I'm glad I finally found a product that works for me.
