The Skinceuticals product costs more than three times as much as Cosmetic Skin Solutions C E Ferulic serum. I did a comparison of the ingredients, which were identical to the higher priced Skinceuticals. So I bought it, and am so glad. Most importantly, it is working just like the higher priced serum, even better. This serum goes on smoothly and it's like giving my thirsty face a drink. Suddenly my skin is soothed and smooth, and my skin is nicely prepped for make-up, although lately I find I don't need to wear make-up because my skin is looking so good without it. The Skinceuticals serum had a nasty smell, like cooked hot dogs, this has a faint oder, not hot dogs but just a faint smell, not so much that you are repulsed by it, and the smell evaporates almost immediately when you smooth it on your face. I use this serum after I wash and tone my face, and then I use sun-screen over it. People tell me my skin looks brighter and some have asked if I've had any "work done" because it's so smooth. Nope, this serum is my "secret".
