(More customer reviews)I've used a lot of products, many of which were prescription from the dermatologist, and the only thing that every helped was prescription antibiotics. There is evidence that even taking low doses continually is bad for you (I don't remember the exact issue). Now I use this each a.m. and each p.m. and the rosacea has improved dramatically and my pores are clear. I don't have any peeling or irritation from it.
I had researched rosacea via Google Scholar and had found that glycolic acid peels were being used successfully for rosacea. I did not want to spend the money to do that, so decided to try a reasonably priced over-the-counter glycolic acid product. The first few days it stung a little before I rinsed it off but that has stopped. I massage it on dry skin then do a few things around the house for 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing it off. You should not use it on wet skin or mix it with water as that changes the pH. Only use water when you are ready to rinse it off. You can start with once a day, then go to twice a day, if you are nervous about how your skin will react. I have pretty sensitive skin and went to twice a day after only 4 days.
