(More customer reviews)Trying this product for the first time I was not quite sure what to expect. It was a little thicker then a toner with a consistency more like aloe gel - which is an ingredient. The toner seemed to provide the most noticeable results when I used it before a peel versus using a plain toner or alcohol. With the toner there was virtually no stinging, burning, or redness during or after the peel. This was quite a benefit when moving up to an 80% lactic acid peel. The neutralizer is great and very soothing to the skin. I use it post peel and for a few days following while my skin is still somewhat sensitive to my regular after cleansing toner. All in all I am happy with the product and give 4 out of 5 stars because of its consistency which makes it a little more difficult to apply with a cotton ball.
